Howard is a managing director of GI Partners, a leading alternative investment management firm. GI Partners currently manages two billion in capital commitments across multiple asset classes on behalf of highly-respected institutional investors around the world.
He has investment responsibilities for the healthcare sector and currently serves on the boards of Logibec, Plum Healthcare and Ladder Capital. He previously served on the boards of The Planet, SoftLayer Technologies, PC Helps, The Telx Group, Duckhorn Wine Company and AdvoServ.
Prior to joining GI Partners, Howard’s experience included Nomura, SG Cowen and Smith Barney. Howard worked in the principal finance group at Nomura, structuring a wide range of principal transactions in healthcare, TMT and financial services industries. He also worked as a strategy consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton.
Howard holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Rice University.
