Mike Valentine
Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Mike sets the Netsmart vision and strategy. He focuses on meeting the company’s business objectives, securing resources for growth and supporting the Netsmart mission on behalf of its associates and clients.
Paul Anderson
Executive Vice President, Client Organization
Paul is responsible for the company’s overall client relationships. This includes alignment of company and client imperatives, the sharing of information that furthers partner-focused, long-term client relationships, and the establishment and nurturing of our collaborative client community.
Regan Baron
Vice President, Client Experience
Regan, MHA, RN, FACHE, and her team are responsible for all areas that impact the client experience, such as personalized software demonstrations, client training and education, client support portal, client strategy sessions and client councils.
Michael Brand
Executive Vice President, Engineering
Michael is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality healthcare information technology solutions. He and his team work with clients and other key partners to ensure that Netsmart software solutions continue to lead the industry in innovation and overall value.
Joel Gleason
Chief Growth Officer
Joel oversees all revenue-generating business units. He plays a pivotal role in new business development, market cultivation, client experience and internal alignment to achieve long-term growth goals.
Scott Green
Senior Vice President/Managing Director, CareDimensions
Scott Green leads the Care Dimensions business unit at Netsmart. In his role, he leads a team focused on building out a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to support organizations as they digitize their operations beyond the EHR.
Erica Gregory
Vice President and General Manager of RCM Operations
As vice president of Revenue Cycle Management Operations, Erica oversees all billing and back-office operations for healthcare organizations across the country. Through strategy, measurement and execution, she works with internal teams to ensure the client achieves optimal financial performance.
Tom Herzog
Chief Operating Officer
Tom is responsible for leading solution and technology strategies focused on person-centric design to optimize workflow, efficiencies and outcomes. His teams work in collaboration with both clients and partners to deliver comprehensive solutions for the human services and post-acute care communities.
Wendy Hill
Chief People Officer
Wendy oversees the human resources organization and associate experience. She is responsible for aligning the company’s workforce to meet business objectives and for growing and developing internal talent.
Dawn Iddings
Senior Vice President/Managing Director, Post-Acute
Dawn leads the post-acute care organization. She is responsible for managing Netsmart Homecare, an industry-leading home health, hospice, palliative care and private duty electronic health record (EHR) as well as the Netsmart senior living EHR.
Kevin Kaufman
Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer, Kevin is responsible for Netsmart financial objectives, results, budget, reporting, policies, cash management processes and strategic direction. He also oversees preparation and filing of the company’s financial statements, as well as provision of company performance and financial information to analysts and the investment community.
Lynn Marasco
Senior Vice President, General Counsel
Lynn oversees all legal affairs, compliance and corporate matters at Netsmart, including advising the board of directors, CEO and other senior management. With nearly 25 years of experience developing and leading corporate legal strategy, Lynn brings expertise to promote and protect the company's matters, while accomplishing corporate goals and priorities.
AJ Peterson
VP/GM CareGuidance
AJ Peterson has served as vice president and general manager of CareGuidance for Netsmart for 10 years. He maintains an efficient, client-focused model around connectivity, consumer-engagement technologies, virtual care, analytics, population health management and develops value-based connections among clients, suppliers and partners in the healthcare market.
Kevin Scalia
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development
Kevin oversees strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions as well as business development. Kevin also plays a significant leadership role in federal legislative and public policy advocacy and is responsible for developing alliances with industry associations.
David Strocchia
Senior Vice President/Managing Director, Human Services
Dave Strocchia leads the human services organization for Netsmart. In this role, he works closely with the clinical, development and product teams to ensure all Netsmart technology solutions and professional services align with client and market needs.

Mike leads Netsmart’s comprehensive Plexus™ portfolio of professional services including Strategy & Advisory, Transformation Program and Enhanced Support offerings. The Plexus™ portfolio includes Solution Implementation, full IT Managed Services, comprehensive Revenue Cycle Management, Clinical Integrity/Compliance, Coding & Documentation Improvement.

Mark Carter
Managing Director, TA Associates
Mark helps to lead TA's global franchise in healthcare. He is a member of TA's Core Investment and Portfolio Committees. Mark serves on the Board of Directors of Aldevron, and formerly served on the Boards of eviCore healthcare, MedRisk, MedSolutions, MPI Research, Quotient Bioresearch, Senior Whole Health and SoftWriters. Prior to joining TA in 2005, he held private equity positions at Parthenon Capital, FdG Associates and The Halifax Group.
James Cashman III
Executive Chairman, ANSYS, Inc.
Jim Cashman’s 45 years of experience in the areas of technical, financial, operation and sales management has been key to the success of numerous computer software, product data management, transaction processing, and computer-aided engineering companies. In each role, Cashman has focused on developing clarity-of-vision and providing appropriate guidance to steer teams in the right direction.

Patrick currently serves as founder and managing partner of HM3 Partners, a private equity investment and advisory firm. Patrick was previously founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MED3OOO, one of the largest and most advanced healthcare management and technology service providers in the U.S. In 2012, MED3OOO was acquired by McKesson Corporation, currently ranked 15th on the FORTUNE 500 and is the nation’s largest health care services company.

As managing director, Dave has investment responsibilities for GI Partners healthcare sector. Founded in 2001, GI Partners is a leading alternative investment management firm. GI Partners currently manages two billion in capital commitments across multiple asset classes on behalf of highly-respected institutional investors around the world.

Calvin focuses on investments in healthcare companies across North America. Prior to joining TA, he held private equity positions at BC Partners and Madison Dearborn Partners.
Nathan Lipkin

Nathan Lipkin is a Principal of GI Partners. Mr. Lipkin currently serves on the boards of Clinical Ink, Netsmart, and Rectangle Health. Prior to re-joining GI Partners after business school, Mr. Lipkin was an investment banking analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Jefferies in New York.

Linda is a healthcare architect and reformer, advancing care for people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders. She helped secure passage of the federal mental health and addiction parity law and played a critical role in ensuring that the Affordable Care Act addresses the needs of individuals with behavioral health disorders.
