Netsmart and Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care Partner to Design and Develop New Technology for Hospice Providers

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Oct. 9, 2018Netsmart and Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care (Cornerstone) announced their partnership to collaborate on enriching healthcare IT for hospice care organizations. The Florida-based healthcare provider will implement an enterprise electronic health record (EHR) solution developed by Netsmart to meet the unique requirements of hospice and palliative care. Together, they will work to innovate and refine technology to further advance the way hospice care is delivered.

Within the solutions, clinicians can complete clinical forms, develop treatment plans, record progress notes and assessments and collect consents at the point of care. Electronic signatures and embedded e-fax will also contribute to significant improvements in the workflow between clinical staff and physicians.
